The Service

IDCaller lets a business register phone numbers it controls, verify ownership of those numbers via one-time SMS codes, and publish a verified, branded caller ID that may be displayed to recipients of that business’s calls through the IDCaller mobile app.

Eligibility & accounts

You must be authorized to act for the business you register and to manage the phone numbers you submit. You are responsible for the accuracy of your information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account.

Phone number verification & messaging

You may only submit phone numbers your business owns or is authorized to use. We send a one-time verification code by SMS to confirm control of the number; by submitting a number you consent to receive that message. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of verification messages and HELP for help. Submitting numbers you are not authorized to use is prohibited and may result in termination.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Impersonate another business or misrepresent your identity.
• Register numbers you do not own or control.
• Facilitate spam, fraud, scams, or unlawful calling or messaging.
• Interfere with, probe, or attempt to bypass the security of the Service.

The verified badge reflects that a business confirmed control of a number; it is not an endorsement, and we may revoke verification or branding at our discretion, including for suspected abuse.

Subscriptions & billing

Publishing a verified, branded caller ID requires a paid subscription. Plans renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; by subscribing you also agree to Stripe’s terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription from the billing area; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. Payment buys identification and publication of your caller ID — it never guarantees call delivery or that recipients will answer.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software and content (excluding your business name and logo), is owned by IDCaller and its licensors. You grant us a limited license to display your business name and logo for the purpose of providing branded caller ID.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that caller ID will display on every device or carrier.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IDCaller will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or for suspected abuse. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict- of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by notice through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
